Burnout Doesn’t Have to Be the Cost of Teaching.
-
We’ve spent decades trying to fix burnout the wrong way.
Wellness programs and resilience training haven’t been effective because they don’t get to the root of the problem. We need a radical new approach to sustainable performance.
That’s why I created Burnout by Design™.
In 2017, while working as the Music Director for the Broadway musical Hamilton, I experienced a stress-related heart attack at the age of forty-three. That event fundamentally changed how I think about work and achievement and helped shape the methodology I use today.
Burnout isn’t just a resilience problem. It’s a design gap that requires a shared commitment to sustainable success. When organizations get that right, trust grows, performance improves, and people choose to stay.
Burnout by Design™ creates the foundation for that future. It uncovers personal and organizational drivers of burnout, and reverse-engineers it to reveal exactly what needs to change.
Audiences leave with stronger alignment between leaders and teams and a clear roadmap for a more sustainable way of working.
Burnout doesn’t have to be the price of success. Success simply needs intentional design.
“Teaching cannot be sustained by teachers alone. It requires shared responsibility for sustainable impact in systems designed to last.”
Burnout by Design™ moves beyond wellness interventions and resilience training to get to the heart of burnout in education. Julian’s Perfect Equilibrium® framework reveals the personal and organizational drivers of burnout, before delivering a shared roadmap for change.
